From today, Greed Corp is also available in Japan on the PlayStation Network! This Japanese release is a collaboration between W!Games and Spike.
So, if you live in Japan, you can get your hands on Greed Corp now for ¥ 1,000. Players in other territories should benefit from this as well, as players from all regions can play against each other online.
As mentioned on our boards, we’ve been working hard on a patch for the PSN version of Greed Corp. The main bug on PlayStation 3 that needed fixing was the ranking server error, preventing people from playing ranked matches altogether. But we also looked into other things that could be addressed with the same patch, resulting in some other fixes and improvements.
This patch should be available NOW. Just turn on your PlayStation 3, start Greed Corp and it will automatically ask you if you want to update to a newer version. If it appears like the patch is not yet available in your region, please allow for some time and try again later today. We have confirmation that the patch has gone live both in Europe and America and we just updated our own European version of the game.
If you ran into the ranking server error, you should now be able to find and play ranked matches again with previously locked up accounts. Your progress, like matches played and skill points, should remain intact and you can continue from there. If you did not experience this error, there are still some things in the patch that you might find useful.
